At Print Crowd, you can choose from a range of printing options for folded or unfolded postcards. The printable area on the back of an unfolded DIN A6 card is 55 x 85mm. Printing all four sides on an unfolded DIN A6 postcard will give you a double-sided design with an additional 8 mm to the left and right of your design, which means there’s 10 mm less space for your message. The standard postcard is printed in four color process on 300 GSM gloss coated art paper. The front of the card has a glossy finish, giving your recipients a beautiful impression of your company. The back of the card also has a rough textured feel that makes it ideal for writing.

There are lots of different postcard color and paper type options available to you when creating your custom printed postcards on Print Crowd. Here, it is possible to find the right paper stock depending on whether or not you would like to include your recipient’s card in a direct mailing campaign. For example, an inexpensive yet still durable choice is our coated art paper which comes in grammages ranging from 170 GSM (coated) to 350 GSM (luster). On the other end of the spectrum, if your task at hand includes a very robust postcard, give priority to premium 400 GSM cardboard or 300 GSM chromo board. The latter grammage makes a great invitation, but can also handle millions of postcards as part of a mailing campaign for mass informative mail services. If sustainability is important, but the price isn’t much of an issue, then choose white recycled paper certified under the Blue Angel label!

Groundwood pulp paper is particularly suited for printing. The paper has a thickness of 1.4mm and a grammage of 575 GSM. This material is made from soft yet eco-friendly materials like wood shavings, which are otherwise disposed of in the filing process. Our groundwood paper comes primarily in white, but we also offer ribbed, cream, and linen colors that add to the aesthetic elements while structuring the feel of your surfaces as well as defining their lightfastness when exposed to ultraviolet light (a type of lasting light activated by radiation). Should you need to obtain larger formats, our postcards can come printed on both Luxecore designs (which prints colored core materials within 500 GSM) and DIN A6 size paper with its own unique or bright colors inside or out!

At Print Crowd, we offer paper types in blue, red, and black. The coated art paper 170 GSM, 250 GSM, and 350 GSM can all be printed gloss or matte. When configuring your order you will have to specify a preference between the two options. Choosing glossy front panels instead of matt gives you a classy touch to your greeting cards or invitations which makes them stand out from the crowd! Premium board 350 GSM can be configured on both glossy and matte which gives your print jobs a polished look.

We offer four varieties of postcards: coated, premium, bright white, and matte. And there are several color options available.  We use the CMYK printing process to provide your postcards in exciting colours. If you need anything fancy, make sure to choose the Pantone option which gives you 25 special color options to choose from. With gold and silver inks for an added luxurious touch, there will be no doubt that your invitations will match flawlessly with any corporate design. In addition, these extra luxuries can be paired up with the CMYK printing process on coated art paper, premium and chroma board, offset paper, or recycled paper if you so wish!
